How to add Google Adsense to your store

After you have opened your Google Adsense account (https://www.google.com/adsense), you will be asked to add some Javascript code to your store, which will show the ads.

You will also be asked to add an "ads.txt" file to your store to verify your ownership.

Adding the Google Adsense Code

To add Google Adsense to your store, go to "Settings -> Store Settings" in the left-hand menu.

Paste your Google Adsense code into the "Header Scripts & Meta Tags" field, and click save.

Adding the ads.txt File

Download your ads.txt file from your Google Adsense account. Open the file and copy the contents.

On the same page as above, paste the contents of your ads.txt file into the box "ads.txt Content" and click save.

Important - Clear Your Store Cache

After making and saving these changes, you must clear your store cache to make them available to Google and your visitors.
