Google provides a free tool called Google Search Console that will show you stats and help you rank your stores in the search engine.

How to add your store to Google

Opening your Google Search Console account

Visit the following link:

You will need an existing or new Google account. All your stores and websites can go under one Google Search Console account.

Follow the instructions on the link above to set up your account.

Adding and verifying your store

Inside your Google Search Console account, find the option to "Add Property". You will see a screen similar to the screenshot below.

Choose "URL Prefix" and enter your store URL:

You will then be asked to verify your store. Choose the "HTML Tag" option and copy the value as below.

Go to your store admin area, and navigate to "Settings -> Store Settings". Add the copied value into the "Header Scripts & Meta Tags" box.

Now go to "Maintenance -> Store Cache" and clear your store cache.

Finally, go back to Google Search Console and click verify. Your store will now be verified and you will see various details about your store on the Google search engine.
