Analytics - Feature Guide

Your stores have a built-in analytics feature. This tracks your visitors and gives you reports that show traffic and behaviour.

Analytics Terminology

In your store dashboard and reports, you will see terms that might be unfamiliar:

  • Unique Visitor - This is a person visiting your website.
  • Hit - This is a page visit by a person visiting your website. A visitor may access several pages and, therefore, several "Hits".
  • Action - An action is anything that a visitor does while visiting your store. This can be visiting a page, clicking an external link, clicking a download, using your contact form etc.
  • Bounce - A bounce is when a visitor views only one page on your store. It means that they found your store, viewed one page, and then left without clicking any link or taking any action.
